About Me

Firstly as a mom of two beautiful children, George and Stella. They have taught me so much about love, play, development and patience. My second passion is my career in education as a primary school teacher.

I had taught children for ten years before having babies and have always been intrigued in brain development within my school teaching.

Staying home to help my children learn how to learn is a priority of mine. I wish to share my ideas and suggestions with other parents keen to help their babies
and children become lifelong learners.

I have over the years at home pondered the thought of going back to my job as a teacher. It would mean not being able to raise and nurture my children myself as we would have to find alternative arrangements for care.

It has been my decision to stay home to spend time raising our children.

Money, anyone will agree is necessary and important so one can live. Our children however while so young are more important, a time so critical for laying the strong foundations for lifelong learning. Research suggests that babies learn the most from their parents afterall.

While many people feel they have no option but to return straight back to work after having children, few people realise there truly are other options to earn money. I felt confused and torn between home and work until I established my own online business from home.

I can highly recommend other parents learn how they can do this so they too can stay at home for longer with their children.

I have always been mindful as a mom of my history as a school teacher. I have not wanted to teach my children at home, with workbooks, drills and pricey teaching programs. I want to be a mom who can help my children learn in a fun, loving and relaxed environment without any pressure.

To me, this is how children learn the best and develop intrinsic joy from their own achievement. I think it's best to let school be school and home be home! Children want their parents to be moms and dads, not teachers that add pressure and take the fun out of learning at home.

Brainy Bambino shows other parents how they too can foster and enhance their childrens' development while remaining nurturing and loving, sharing a trusted bond. This time spent with your children opens the lines for communication, which is precious right through life.
